Is this Advertising Loop Hole in the Forum?

I often see newbie here put their website url in the location fields under their profile... As per this forum policy, the newbie aren't alowed to put thier links in the footer until a certain number of post.

Can they put their web url in the location field? Is this a loop hole or it allowed? or there's no way to control the location field?

I think that's fine. Putting their URL at the 'location' part would have not really make it a 'link' anyway. Thanks for the heads up, btw.
