I find the email notification on new thread reply is pretty annoying. It fills up my mailbox and I dont like it.

I go to my USER CP, and changed the option to "No Email Notification", and yet I am still receiving those email. Is there a glitch in this forum software?

So far, I never receive a single triggered notification mail in my mailbox for own initiated new threads as I haven't done any subscription.

You may try
"User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode -> Do not subscribe"

Oh I think I know how to get around with it.

When I register here, the option on default is subscribe any thread you reply and send email notification. So when I changed it, my old subscribed thread are still on this send email notification mode. I have to change my subscription mode.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

Apologise on that. The auto-subscription on thread is ON by default to improve response rate. But as Genzy suggested, you may disable it.
