awardspace.com free hosting

hi all,
i just found a free hosting from awardspace.com, this hosting can host alot of CMS such as joomla, oscommerce...( refer to the description ), after i sign up, it look like very hard to use for me...i still on the way to study this site...
any one can try and giv some comment there too...thank

this host does not provice the subdomain, such ask www.myname.awardspace.com so i still looking for the FTP host address to host my file up there

this is what i get from their faqs
The FTP setings are as follows:
• FTP Host: all FTP Hosts are listed in your Control Panel, FTP Manager section on the bottom of the page
• FTP Username: all FTP usernames are listed in your Control Panel, FTP Manager section
• FTP Password: the FTP password you have assigned to your FTP account, for the default one FTP account if you haven't change it, password is the same as your initial hosting's account password.

I think you need to set up a domain with your acounts there

i am lost from asign the domain for the host, the hosting request a domain, so i just sign up littlepenang.tk and add in the domain, after that i am lost!..and at dot.tk site i have point the domain to the awardspace IP address which is 70.86.228.147...

any 1 tested?

this hosting can host OSC, joomla and alot more..i think is the one i need, with the mail() eneble...but i still cannot find a way to upload the file

1. create a domain directory in your web hosting account
2. set up the domain to point to your hosting server
3. able to login into your host via ftp client

1)i sign up a dot tk domain, and how can i point the domain to the hosting?
the Your referer URL shuld put what is or name?

2)what is the ftp server name shuld i put in my ftp software to connect to the server and upload my file?

i register for the free subdomain


currently i found the way to upload my file with FTP, i went to domain manager and add my dot TK domain in, after that behind it have a IP address, i just took that 1 as my ftp server...after success login into my host, i saw a folder, the name is similar with my dot tk domain

back to my domain setting, i still cant find the way to set the refer URL to my hosting...

whats ur account name? url to your account homepage
dot.tk is a url redirection so you just need to put the homepage url there in your .tk referer url
