Question Removing Text From Images

Hello mates,

I have a small problem to get sorted. I hope any one of the expertise in here could give me a helping hand!

Well, my problem is that I have an Image with some text written over it! Is there any way in Photoshop or some other applications to split this text from the image? I am in much need of getting this query sorted! I tried myself in Photoshop with some of the options that I know but nothing helped out! By the way, as you all know this Image which I have, can not be splitted into layers.

Any suggestions or advise are much apreciated!

if it was a static image file like a jpg gif png etc... I think you cannot remove the text.
U may try to do some 'make up' to cover the text instead but it is a fussy job.
psst.. I hope u r not trying to plagiarize someone's photo

dont do it-lah. respect the owner of the photo.

imagine it was you those snap the pic.. someone steal it and put thier mark on it.

actualy.. there's no way to remove text on jpg, png, gif bla bla image, because the text has been graphic format.

GAWD!! You guys have made me a thief atlast! Lol TUT @ all of you who thought it in that way!

It was just a matter of question! I am not that bad mates to steal someone else's art! I know that is cheap! I was asking it to know how to do that as I have never seen any one coming up with a solution for this thing.

Anyways thanks for your reply

This is how i do it for those old photographs i scan that have the pesky 'date' embedded in it. I use 'Paint'. Nothing fancy. But there is some work invoved where you have to be quite artistic to cover over the numerals/text on it with other bits of the actual photo. Most times i just crop the whole thing off but sometimes there is just that bit you want preserved.

Good Luck!

If you use Photoshop, the use the 'Clone' tool ......... press alt and click on a location without text , then just click on the text to cover it. Play with the clone stamp size.

For more simpler jobs, I use Windows Paint ........ 1. Paint over the text pixel by pixel or 2. Use the select tool, select and copy a small area, then paste it over the text

The Photoshop Clone tool works the best for me. Or if you fee artistic, use the Brush tool and draw pixel by pixel
