Responsibilities

* Provide service deliverables as defined by agreed client Service Level Agreements and team/personal objectives.
* Provide 2nd/3rd level support across multiple distributed environments.
* Contribute to the on-going development and maintenance of all support documentation in line with the agreed quality standards.
* Provide support for stand-by / on-call rosters where applicable.
* Identify and rectify technical 'barriers' to successful remote management.
* Provide problem escalation to other groups/leaders where required.
* Maintain a working operational knowledge of EDS systems and processes.
* Maintain Digital Workflow problem/Change tickets as per EDS Standards.
* Maintain security when required in accordance with defined EDS standards.
* Understand and perform all required disaster escalation/evacuation procedures as required.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in Backup environment using Tivoli Storage Manager, preferably , V 5.3 and above.
* Experience is planning / commissioning TSM server in Unix platform
* Proficient in Windows, Linux, OpenVMS, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Z/OS.
* Good understanding of LAN (TCP/IP)/SAN Networks is an added advantage.
* Sound problem determination and resolution.
* Problem and Change Mgmt Process understanding, preferably ITIl certified.
