IT Software Application Engineer
(Penang - Bayan Lepas)


Responsibilities:


Act as Level 1 and Level 2 support contact point.
To support or maintain certain tools.
Deal with US customer directly.
Manage and develop 4 tools.
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Advanced Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Fresh graduate with strong practical knowledge would be encourage to apply.
Minimum 1 year practical Industrial experience in .Net programming and Ms SQL is a must.
Knowledge in Linux is preferable.
Good command in English.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.

Technical Support Specialist
(Penang - Bayan Lepas)


Responsibilities:


Diagnosis, & troubleshoot via telephone, computer systems/software systems / servers within standard time frames.
Escalation of issues to the Product Support team and/or Technical Support Manager in order to resolve the issue to the customer's complete satisfaction.
Analytical, articulate, action-oriented and provide excellent follow-up.
Maintain accurate call logging and tracking into Helpdesk database.
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse range of people with varying levels of technical understanding and ability in international environment.
Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science / IT related discipline with at least 3 years working experience in providing direct support to end-users either in customer service/field engineering or corporate help desk are also encouraged to apply.
Those with professional certification from Microsoft/Red Hat/Novell will have an added advantage.
Strong understanding and technical ability for PC, Software systems and applications supported.
Intermediate server hardware knowledge (including SCSI, RAID, and I/O topology); A+ certification desired (For Servers support).
Basic networking knowledge (including WAN topology, mixed LAN/WAN operating system environments, DNS/WINS/DHCP, firewall solutions, and network load balancing); Cisco certification desired (for servers support).
Advanced knowledge of at least 2 of the following: NT, W2K, RedHat Linux, Exchange, SQL, IIS, Proxy, Apache, Squid, SendMail, Clustering, Site Server, ASP, or XML (for servers support).
Able to work rotating shifts including 24x7.
