Responsibilities:


Responsible for design and development of firmware code.
Able to cover SoC verification and validation support.
Must be open to domestic and/or international travel for technical consultation/presentation.
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Master's Degree is preferable.
Minimum 3 years experience in embedded systems firmware development with preferred experience in disk drive firmware development and/or Nand Flash development.
Hands on FW programming of ARM, ARC, or equivalent 32-Bit CPU risk architecture.
In-depth knowledge of FW debug tools such as emulators and simulation .
Strong C programming skills. Assembly language preferred.
Sound SW Engineering concept/methodology (process).
SATA/PATA Channel firmware development background preferred.
SAS/Fibre Channel firmware development is a plus.
