Local IT Company, specializing in planning, implementing and providing e-Business and e-Government solutions and services to clients from diverse industries in Malaysia and overseas, is looking for a Lead Creative Designer.

LEAD CREATIVE DESIGNER

Key Responsibilities :

The candidate's main work scope would be :-

1) To produce an impressive and creative unique ideas in the development of the design to fulfill the customer’s expectations
2) To be able to conceptualize design based on customer’s requirement and expectation
3) To work closely with the User Requirement (to gather requirement from client) team to develop design concepts for assigned projects
4) To have excellent creativity, dedication and an ability to think out of the box are essential
5) To have highly discipline with a positive working attitude and strong personal commitment to work
6) To have pleasant attitude while working under pressure and able to work within tight schedules

The candidate will also be required to :-

1) Carry out User Requirement Study (URS) for assigned projects, especially the design-related sections
2) To lead the design team during the URS period for assigned projects
3) Participate in the software development lifecycle supporting project implementation activities including design planning, user interface building, documentation, testing and training
4) Plan, execute and schedule job assignments to ensure successful completion of the job assigned
5) Monitor and supervise junior designer in delivering the work and to ensure quality are fully met
6) Liaise with design partner and to ensure product quality and specification are fully met




Minimum Qualifications (must have to be considered for the position) :

The candidates should be someone with :-

1) 3 years working experience in related environment and work scope and a diploma or degree in any of the discipline below :
o Web Design
o Computer Science or Information Technology or Multimedia

OR

In the absence of tertiary qualifications, extensive direct experience of more than 3 years working experience in similar or related environment and work scope is required

2) Proven experience in the area of creative design especially for web and online campaign
3) Knowledge in advertising plus Desktop Publishing is an advantage
4) Proficiency in Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash
5) Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Action Scripting is an added advantage
6) Excellent knowledge on specification preparation and participation in URS
7) Excellent knowledge on the current IT trends training
