ic, there are many option nowadays incld maxis....choose which suits u incld budget, speed, if needed networking capability and service. Service is quite important...izzi is very new....at the moment the service is good..but no one can tell in the future...might be better or might not. so i suggest go shopping for all n decide after u r really happy..if u ask ppl who use maxis they say they r happy, if u ask ppl who use izzi also happy, digi too...but everyone complaint streamyx.

according to the sales person that visited me in my office... they are targeting penang as their next cities.. later they will move to JB as well.

I've been using it for the last 2 month and very satisfied with it ... by the way if i'm not mistaken they have 3,6 and 9 mth refund scheme if you don't like it.

Tips: if your signal strength is not stable in your area, call the support line and ask for info on the extended attenna (for pcmcia card and usb card only) ... i got mine antenna FOC and they courier it to me

they are not 4g based and iBurst is a different technology for wireless... want to know the tecno mambo jambo bout iburst... head on down to wikipedia at --->> iBurst - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i would says the price are good for the service given.... i don't have to bother with streamyx nutz error 678 anymore....

For all people thinking to migrate to iZZi net service a word of advice...DON'T. The service is pathetic. I have have 100% signal strength yet Bandwidth is non-existant and the helpline number changes more often then the days of the week. Even if you do manage to get through don't expect any response to your complaints. iZZi will do nothing. Since they collected all the money in advance there is frankly jack that you can do if you dont like there service.

STAY AWAY! Don't make the same mistake I did.

i've did some research and ask thro izzi reseller they tell me that izzi will be available in penang around march nex year...mybe can go up till mid of 08...depend on their management

but d downside for izzi is we've to pay for yearly basis...mybe after dis when it bcome more popular they might offer monthly pyment...i hope so

Don't be fooled by the "Money Back Guarantee" that they offer. There's more fine print and loopholes to that then what you could shake your finger at. I found this out the hard way...
Also while we on the subject of iZZi scams, the speed test that the guys from iZZi will try to show you is also a complete farce. Your internet will barely be able to open a simple webpage yet when you run the test he speed test will give you 900kbs/sec download speeds. Want to see how fast your connections really running? Download any small file from some website. Mozilla or download.com for example have both got fast enough servers to ensure that any bandwidth holdups you experience are a consequence of your own ISP's bottlenecks and not from there servers. A far more accurate test then iZZi's own speed test...

gee.... which location are u using the izzi with????
i have no problem so far with the service in my area... have testing it with download from an ftp server, google video and yahoo messenger with someone in penang... so far so good for me...
i know that in some area, the connection is really bad especially in mid valley and kepong...

download from overseas site are bound to slowdown especially on popular server like download.com due to heavy traffic from the other end and especially u downloading using http protocol....

btw.. all these wireless thingi... izzi, maxis, celcom, digi, jaring, etc... tat providing wireless broadband/3g services... don't expect it to work as fast as streamX nutz loh... at least its provide decent connection speed with mobility...

anyway... wish you luck in your refund....
