regarding standard resolution
hhm... base on my web surfing experience... and stats on teh net, 800 x 600 is the most common one. but then more and more ppl are going for 1024 X 768 . hotmail and yahoo are still on 800 x 600. in fact a lot of major sites are still 800 x 600 not becos they cant design one that is 1024 X 768 , its just that MORE net audience are in the 800 x 600.
