best resolution for designers? this is a new question..

well i design on a 1152 res screen.. easier on photoshop when designing 800x600 interfaces.

if i were to choose, it would be a standard 1024X768 but many users out there uses 800X600. So my designs usually work with 800X600 but better in 1024X768

i take a look at my stats .. most of user already change their screen res. to 1024 X 768 ... there still some user with 640 X 480 res (one of them were zaimlah .. haha).

anyway ... i think 1024 X 768 will suit you well ... but i think i'll try 1600 X 1200 after bought a new pc with 19 ' monitor :P

tapi la.... kalau kita buat site, contoh best view on 1024 x 768, mahu ka user tuka resolution pc diaorang tu? kalau sesama designer, tentulah tiada masalahkan? (setahu aku, user biasa ni, 'malaih' nak tuka resolution) betui tak?

hehehhehe.... tengok user laa.....

you cant make your site look well on every user screen .. just make sure it look right on the majority user ... and the majority use 1024 X 768 currently ... so use it

cc pun dah banyak yg upgrade tuh ... tapi aku still design for 640 X 480 .. ahaks ... sbb kecik sket saiz dia .. kalau buat utk 800 X 600 tak tau plak mender nak letak sbb banyak sangat space ... ahaks.

aku dah perati lama bende nih.. but mostly still using 800X600 ..
so tak payah terburu2 ngan tinggikan resolusi..
semata-mata nak tunjuk pc korang power atau best.. Padahal skrin korang masih banyak 14" or 15" .. kalau ada pakai 17 - 19 punya pun boleh kire ahh.. tuh pun mungkin pc ofice..

bende nih pun dah banyak dibincangkan.. dan kalau korang bijak.. sebenarnya 800X600 adalah tetap yang terbaik.. sebab apa?.. zaman nih kire cam satu peralihan dari 640-480.. dan dari 800X600 - 1024 ** above..

so kita pilih yang pertengahan.. sebab tak terlalu berbottom scroolbar bagi user.

antara sebab yang lain... 800*600 masih berada dalam kategory excelent... tidak terlalu besar.. dan tidak terlalu kecil.. bahkan banyak web masih diasaskan pada resolusi ini...

tu jer pendapat aku...

p/s: aku yang leh pakai semua resolution pada pc 15" flat monitor..
