Didn’t you know that after the 4th ATM withdrawal, for each withdrawal you’ll be charged MYR 0.50? So, it is better to purposely withdraw bigger amounts that can last you for a week. Save the money in saving account will not help you to get higher interest. It is just 0.2-0.3% annually. Besides that, it can also lessen your waiting time and spending time to the branch/ATM.

Moral of the story.

My daughter operate saving account at Taman Setiawangsa
Branch Maybank Account. The account comes with ATM card.
On 25th Jan 04 made a withdrawal at ATM and discovered that
her balance was short by RM1000. She made a report to the
bank on 26 Jan 04. The amount was withdrawn at ATM
Masjid India KL and she was at home in Kajang.

Whoever has the Maybank account number with ATM card, please be careful when withdrawing money through ATM machine,

1. For the first time when you enter the right pin number, a message “invalid pin number” pops up.

2. Then, when you enter your pin number for the second time, a message “invalid pin number, please call this number “xxx-xxxx” pops up.

3. If you call this number, you will lose all your money.

NOTE : if you encounter the above matter, please DO NOT call the number. One of victim just lost RM ! 700.00 on last Sunday and Maybank checked his
last transaction was on that day itself even though he did not withdraw any money. Please forward this to your friends.

at last, single receipt withdrawal has to be keep..
they only can produce rm50 cause they putting 50 only..
nowadays many ATM produce it.

You cannot prevent hoaxes. You can however be more aware and careful and not believe everything you receive or read . You can try not to fall for such hoaxes by asking others about it first, or searching about it, or calling the bank and asking about it etc etc. And don't participate in propagating the hoaxes by forwarding such emails.

I pay my 3 credit card (Visa, Master, Amex) every month via maybank2u, consider 3 transaction already.

some how, i cash out at ATM once a month, consider the 4th transaction...

if if want to send some buck for other via maybank2u... kena 0.50

I think it depends on the type of account you have. For example, for basic savings accountthere is a charge after the 8th ATM transaction. For some other types of accounts, it is after the 4th ATM transaction.

AFAIK, online payments to some companies such as TM, Tenaga etc does not have a charge. But to some companies there is a charge.

did u mean all the area covered with the commission...
this are the practice not for the tiger bank..
