    what is your connection speed?

dulu masa pakai modem 56K, my average speed is 44kbit/s.

then pakai streamyx 384k, speed is normally 310 kbit/s.

Now dah upgraded to 512k, and currently my connection speed is usually 415 kbit/s.

Just nak check, how about you guys?

    check it here at http://isp.tm.net.my
    (and click the bandwidth test)

    thanks

    Try compare with http://www.2wire.com

Sebab bandwidth test kat tmnet, kadang2 tak ok.

Kena check as well. berapa Kilo byte /sec kerana kilo bits /sec memang nampak banyak tapi kena bahagi dengan 8...

    1 byte = 8 bits

Hmm... too bad Astro uses satellites instead of cable (HFC). If they built their cable network from the start Malaysia would probably already have cable internet by now.

I think the only cable internet provider in singapore is StarHub, after they bought over the cable TV network from SCV... SingTel/Net only has DSL if im not mistaken.

mine is average 320kbps but sometime fully utilize upto max 384kbps. i'm paying rm66 for unlimited access while my brother paying S$58.80 to Starhub & get a remarkable speed of 1500kbps=1.5Mbps. i just wondering, how long should TM net upgrade to this speed & we malaysian can enjoy the speed ...of course with the lower price plans too.

& 1 thing i just can't figure out why singtel price plans is more expensive compare with starhub & our local TM net???
