Are webmasters in Malaysia being paid enough? Would like to do a survey... well, are we good enough for 3K and above? What about foreign countries.. are webmasters in Malaysia highly respected like our Microsoft certified developers and system engineers do? What do you think?

3K and above is pushing it. Well depend on how many years of experience you have. 3K and above you should be doing much more than just a webmaster. But i do see the market is rebounded and getting better. Hope 3K is a standard for a 2-3 yrs experience webmaster.

from my exprience the highest i been paid is rm1.2k for collage website but i did it with adobe photoshop using slicing techniuqe...

normaly i earn around rm200

the lowest i eran around rm100 (for student project)

i dunnu about others..but since i'm is freelance its hard to get paid high by company...they want company account..but i dont have one

Just some info around me (all in monthly figure):

one friend work even at weekends sometimes, ASP, VB.. just below the boss (3yrs) - $2.5 - $3k

another work on PHP, Mysql, Linux, not as hecktic as the first (4yrs)- $2.5 - $3k

another work on ColdFusion as hecktic as the first (4yrs)- around $3k
