Thread: how long does it take to install streamyx?

i have subscribed to streamyx and am still waiting for them to come and install those stuffs.

i applied since last saturday, and now its friday, i still havent got my broadband. to u streamyx users out there, how long actually does it take for them to come and install?

any reply is appreciated. thanks.

I submit my form last month, now still don't have single news from Telekom!

I think it is very much depends on your location. My hometown (Kluang) is installed Streamyx within 1 week!

it took me 2-3 working days.. as lcf said.. depends on ur location

I have waiting few month, nearly half a year still didn't get any news from them...

tention: bawa parang pegi telekom! hahaha... :P

approximately 1 year. Sure, it takes one year.. plus shipping.. dealing... waiting for sure.. :P



p/s it's sucks to seeing other surfing with streamyx since I don't have one...

kalau kontraktor telekom banyak kerja... 1 week...
tapi biasanyer problem masa registration... mungkin kat reseller... sebab biasanyer dier orang kumpul borang registration.. dah banyak baru hantar... huhuhu.. itu abang contractor tu bagi tau aku ler.. sebab aku sendiri nengok slip yang tmnet anto kat kat syarikat dier...silap saper? who know?

orang kata.. lebih baik pergi kedai telekom yang paling dekat dan register kat situ dari dok kat rumah tunggu bulan tak jatuh..

yesterday i go to kedai telekom again.. then i ask them, when will the streamyx available in my hometown. and they said :
" currrently, they try to install and setup the server at the telekom pemancar here lah~ , so maybe you can request after april lah~. becoz they want to test2 first dulu lah~. "

uhh.. just hate with the high dialup internet connection bill oso the DC lah~..

kritikal jugak aaa masalah nak dpt line ribut ni...

aku sendiri pun x try nak tanya lagi walaupun aku sub-agent utk Streamyx area Taiping/Kamunting...

rite now, dialup dah memadai

yer lah kalau yang tak selalu online tu ok ler.. tapi yang nak online selalu ni.. dah ler dial-up tu lembab.. nak dapat bahan² punyer la payah..
lagi pulak kena laman web yang webmaster nyer syok sendiri...
dok ingat laman web dia laju macam dia bukak kat pc dier..
baper lama nak online? mahal lak tu...

p/s: anto surat kat JPM... suruh gegar tm.net.. suyoh kerja cepat sket.. keh keh keh..

i was curious...........y let said the business buidling is equip with the fiber optic infrastructure..........then, supposingly streamyx cannot deploy again right? only for those isdn right??

what technogy tmnet using for replacing it?
