I am wondering, why would Tm-Net give almost thier customer Aztech Modem while some customer got ZTE Modem router. IMHO, ZTE is much better (even I never heard this brand) because it could be a router. And redial automatically. Not to mention it has max 8 Mbps downstream.

Just give everybody ZTE lar....easier and help them to cut cost if they want to share streamyx with all PC at their house. Right ?

for your information, the Aztech modem I got from tmnet also can be a router with redial automatically. the model is Aztech 305E

oic. Because, before this I got Aztech modem from them, but need to redial manually like dial-up. And could not be a router. Do you know what model it is. I thougt only Aztech 305U has router built in (which cost us RM 450++ @ Sungai Petani, Kedah)

WOW RM450!!! so expensive....tat time was selling the most for the Aztech 305U was at RM 300 only or lower....

Ya, last time tmnet is giving away ADSL modem that does not has router function. But they have changed it recently.

My younger brother was using ADSL modem without router function last time, then the modem "mati", replaced by 305E.

The technician said now all changed to new modem

305U is USB? 305E is ethernet modem.

hehe...i'm using Artnet router with 4 port switches. it cost me only RM260 nia...pack with fully loaded features...

yeah Artnet sell cheap but as u mentioned fully loaded features...what are they??

wowww too expensive.. i got DSL306U just only RM133 at Lowyat Plaza.. it's function is same like router.. and it have an always on internet access.

I am using ZTE from Telekom, but sometimes although it dials Streamyx, I cannot login into MSN and Yahoo, and have to restart the PC/switch off-on the modem before everything works fine again...

perhaps you are connected but not receiving any data. It happend to dialup.
