This guy successfully tweak his tmnet streamyx dsl connection to 4.5Mbps, which is 520KB/s!!!

But, he refuce to reveal his secret.

AFAIK, there is no way to uncap a DSL connection. The only posibility that I can think of is combining two or more DSL connections to be one. But he denied my guess.

What are the other possible way to BOOST the DSL connection speed? Any idea?

Note: I trust his connection result, he doesn't seems to be a guy who will fake the result. Well, I am not streamyx user, just curious to know more.

i dont know... but i heard dat it's possible 2 hack any streamyx user...that's mean you can use others streamyx acount without paying anything... i dunno how... but try go to jiwang.org... maybe the webmaster know how to hack the streamyx line...

I thought the streaymx account is "tied" together with the phone number? I mean, the connection speed is "capped" on TM Net side using phone number as identifier.

somebody i know in klang valley can reach 8Mbps that is the highest speed they can go.. i think..

i will try to get 8mps download currently i have about 1meg upload ( but not static ), "borrow" other bandwith is one of the factor, u also will need to know how to alter your firmware in your adsl modem to have connection like me :P

currently im using AZTECH modem, i wont tell which modem it is..

ya.. I think ADSL connection cannot be tweak from user side.. it need to be done by telekom staff

updating/tweaking modem firmware or configuration wont make much diff. e.g changing to glite/gdmt mode
UNLESS your line is uncapped/miscapped by telekom

i already told ya...about "bowrroing" neagibour bandwith...he/she need to be with the same node with u..

there is other way to have speed like this...a software...but that is not true bandtiwh..the sowftware only CHACED DATA from all over web you visist...

but borrowing other bandwith is not like other software....yes if our ISP detact we will get a very bad consiqunce....
