its depend on the website that we have to build actually..as i can say, no fix price for a website (maybe =)) because it depends on several factor, flashy thing, complecity of the script, how pro does the design look, how much work hours did you spent to finish that work, and lastly it depends on the customer.
As for me, i have different price for my customer in Malaysia and my customer abroad (eventhough they ask for the same website).

btw, i do agree with what you've mention about the post... but still need to know the price range from a simple web design until the most dedicated complex web pages (like wat? yahoo maybe?...yea.)

I'm not sure. But let's assume that I'm a customer, and hiring a middle level web design firm (aka, average), I'm expected to pay as follow:

Normal static website: RM500 - RM1500

Pre-installed script : RM100 (I can do it using fantastico myself, lol)

Custom script: RM2000 - RM10,000 depending on the size, functionality of the script.

... erm. how much do you think should i charge? im using joomla CMS. with custom design;... including all the administration/web management skill.

how many hours? mm.. a month for all those sites...

my client doesnt know how much to pay actually... and i didnt know how much to chagre either... hehe... i do this coz i didnt work for warehouse company... i work alone as fresh grad in dips... thus... im curious tho how can i charge all this works without charging the client too expensive...

ps; ok.. let say ur my client... and how much u expected to pay for all those sites? :P hehehe

Charge by the number of hours that you put (Hourly rate). However, if you're new and are planning to use those as ur showcase portfolios, can also discount lah. Charges over here can varies from USD 30 - USD 200 / hour depends on how professional the site look and how efficient you are.

p/s : next time you take a design project, discuss about the payment before you start on the project. For your own good :-D I have tonnes of bitter experiences

my cursor went missing when i hover across the flash map. (using Firefox, i didnt debug w/ IE)

The mouse cursor was intentionally hide for attention on the text on states.
This is not a bug but on purpose. haha
