A jack of all trades? A slave of the corporation? A one leg kicking employee all the way to your grave?

I don't know about you but I'm a mere website designer who loves building websites and keeping in touch with what's roughly happening around the Internet.

p/s: Striving to raise the bar of websites in Malaysia in order to raise its name.

A webmaster umm... i think is just a person who manage a website. It should be just that simple I guess.
of course, webmastering is a tough job whether it is for a company or for yourself.
No, being a webmaster is not a slave for a corporate. Like the rest of most of us, we are only a slave of one thing.... money. is all that count.

No one interested in signing up for the position of Web Manager in Air Asia then? :P

1. Create website
2. designing website
3. have knowledge in handling website related language (php, mysql, html, java)
4. Competent to gain more knowledge
5. innovative in create perfect website enviroment that suite the company and users. Digi.com.my new website is nice, but if you're in dialup bye bye.
6. does not sold his/her sold by give rock bottom price for design.
7. And money is not his/her master

As long as the web items does matter in the heart of webmasters, depending on the webmasters' interest, the interest could be inclined to the graphics design or contents or features or money generators or combinations etc.

Webmasters leverage the websites as a channel to achieve their dreams or just self-actualisation due to solely (non-monetary) passionate interests or monetary interests.
