The event was on today, and thanks god that i am able to attend this seminar due to my class finish early at 1pm. I arrived at the venue Wisma MCA at 2.05pm. but it seen not really late even the talk started at 2.00pm. Before enter to the hall, check in with Exabytes (Free for Exabytes client), it take a while to look for my name, finally I found it at the last item, haha. I am the last person to register this event.



The seminar was presented by Hanson Toh, Country Consultant (Malaysia), Google Inc. If not mistaken he is the only Google staff in Malaysia. At US, the most desired company employee like to work is Google, how about in Malaysia? I have look on the photo of the Google office before, it’s really nice, i think it look more like a house rather than a office. Haha. (Next time I plan to have a company like Google style, hehe). Come back to the topic, the presenter Hanson Toh, an MBA degree holder from The Said Business School, University of Oxford, is the Google Country Consultant (Malaysia) to Google, Inc. He also has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Warwick.



He first started his career with Honeywell, Inc. in Singapore as a Sales Engineer. Thereafter, he was part of an Internet start-up before joining Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group as a Strategy Consultant. Just prior to working with Google, he was with DiGi Telecommunications as their Senior Strategic Counsel in the Corporate Strategy Division.



This event is quite satisfaction from the informationg sending about the Google Adword. Beside that each participant can sign up a free trial coupon. It’s always nice to test it before we paid. Haha. One thing that I would like to comment is why Google so “kiam siap” one, the other organizer MIRC and Exabytes got provide some free stuffs to us, but Google only given 2 notebook and 2 T-shirt for participant who answer their questions.

I was in Kuala Lumpur last week for the Malaysian Government Open Source Software Conference. When i receive the information about this Google event, It was too late and I can't ekjas my cuti and especially budget for that event. Like someone in this thred had said. I too was overspend this month ... belanja like got bonus just like last years (lamloong camera fest - p. pinang, mygosscon - putrajaya, pesta pulau pinang)
