New Forum Rules and Guidelines

According to my observation and few months of "tenant" here, I have laid out these rules and guidelines to make this forum a better place for webmaster malaysia discussion.

Please take a look if you are free.

I have put it here if you are lazy to click the links , post your comments please.

1) Start new threads in the most relevant forum category. Do not hijack on others thread, especially on the things that non-related to the thread title.

2) Do not post duplicate threads/replies.

3) Anything unrelated with webmaster will be immediately deleted. This includes, multilevel marketing scheme, vending water franchise business, card prepaid business, etc.

4) Self Promotion and affiliate links are allowed., as long as it is related to webmasters and the topic of the discussion.

5) Paypal withdrawal offer is only allowed under "Other Related Webmaster Services and Promotion". Posting under other section will be deleted. Webmaster Malaysia Forum holds no responsibility on the credibility of the offeror.

6) No scams, get rich fast scheme, or unrealistic claim of earning offers, e.g: Earn $10000 each month by XXXXXX. This will too, be immediately deleted.

7) Anyone found to be breaking the rules and guidelines stated above will be warned. Repeat warnings will result in a permanent ban.

8) The administrator and moderators here will have a final say on things.

I will announce the new moderating team tomorrow and hopefully we can make this forum a better place.

If I may suggest that affiliate links should be made known by the poster. It is then up to the reader to either subscribe under the affiliate program or otherwise. Just a personal preference, I guess. Also, I've seen spammy links especially those who conceal with tinyurl.

i always check the tinyurl.
if i found its similiar to get rich fast scheme, pyramid somemore. i just delete it. Even a page with their own subdomain but then redirect to 'related subject above website', also been deleted. i wont give any chance for spammer.

Right. I agree. The poster must made known to the thread that the URL contains affiliate ID or whatsoever. Good point. Thanks.
