Thread: Webmaster Malaysia Website Award

Hello everyone,

We are going to organize a brand new award for our community, the Webmaster Malaysia Website Award. The purpose is to show a token of appreciation to the good websites from Malaysia, as well as provide learning opportunity to the community on what consists a good website.

The awards will be given in an ongoing basis, which means, there will be no particular winners. All the deserving participants will receive the awards.


How to participate:

1) Send an email to award@webmastermalaysia.com with the details of your website when submission is open.

2) The judging panel (moderators group) will select the award winner based
on: i)web design, ii)usability iii)content iv)the purpose of the
website as well as the comments and opinions received on the particular site.

3) The award winner will be given an award logo to put on his/her website link to a winner thread created under "Award Winner Showcase".

The award is divided into 4 levels:

• 
  The Bronze Website award will be given to normal, mediocre or new websites that still have some rooms for improvement.
  
• 
  The Silver Website award will be given to a better website with good design, and content, but still have little room for improvement.
  
• 
  The Gold Website award will be given to a great website, with great design and content.
  
• 
  The Platinum Website award will only given to the best website that make good impact to the world.

More details will be announced later.

Hmm.. comparing a wordpress vs joomla. I think blog cms barely stand any chance against a portal software, not to mention about hand coded sites

i think we should make a sub domain for this.. and then we archived it in there.
example : award.webmastermalaysia.com or webmastermalaysia.com/award something..

so people can browse later.

the submission should be more formal.

Thanks. That somehow gives me the idea of make the submission like 9 rules network. Perhaps this should make it the Malaysia version of 9 rules.

I think it should include all malaysian websites... not just those suggested here!

agree with vincex3, and have to give some simple requirement such as have to complete the website with webstandard or not? or mayb categorize it to flash based website and non-flash based
