Thread: Best Photo & Best Photo Gallery Contest

Hello Members,

I'm proud to announce that Webmaster Malaysia is the co-organizer of Exabytes Best Photo & Best Photo Gallery Contest. It is supported too by other Photographing Community like FotoPages, with around RM7600 worth of prizes to be won.

Briefly, it is two contests, one for best taken photo, and another one is the best designed/constructed photo gallery. Exabytes Personnel will post full details on this thread later.

Oh, did I mention that we (the Webmaster Malaysia Members) get to be the judges?

As what limcs has mentioned earlier, Exabytes has co-organized this contest with Webmaster Malaysia forum.

Objectives of this contest: To mark Malaysia's 50th year of Independence. We invite anyone residing in Malaysia to join this contest and let us together show how proud you are of being a Malaysian.

Category 1: Best Designed/Constructed Photo Gallery

Category 2: Best Photo

Best Photo Theme: Malaysia's Tourist Destinations

Interesting contest, can I submit photos that were snapped using different camera models? Or each contestant is limited to one model of camera?

You can submit photos that are snapped using different camera models but pls note it down in the entry form on the different models that you use.

what is the participating fees? seen like cant find any infor on registration fees... ist free?

Ummm I think its free, but is it open to Malaysian within Malaysia only or outsider also? Just a question since I'm outside of Malaysia lol

Hi calvyn, No registration fee is needed.

You can participate but you need to have an address in Malaysia.. In case you win, we can send you the prizes.

can anyone elaborate about the Photo Album category.. ? the guideline didn't mention much about how you "create the gallery" Does a modifiyied Coppermine eligible for this contest too?

It doesn't matter how you create the gallery. If it's a nice one and judges like it and thinks that you are creative, you will stand a chance to be elected as one of the finalists.
