I have a 3 years old website that act as a Marketplace for Malaysia. It is currently being upgraded and will be adding a forum for discussion very soon.

There had been a lot of successful sales and transaction through out the years.

Currently we have more than 5000pageviews and over 4000plus registered member.

Consider to add rss feed for search

It depends...are they planing to do online shop for local customer....ecommerce? If you do ecommerce (selling online with shopping cart). Then you can consider affiliate...there are a lot of shopping cart that are paid have this feature included.

Other method is like posting on classifieds, directory and forums.

Paid method is like adwords, local online advertising (nuffnang & advertlets), or contact blog owner for direct advertisements sale. Offline advertisements like newspaper / classifieds posting is still pretty cheap.

Bigger scale you should know already, billboards, TV and radio.

how do you do a search for rss feed???...

Here is the use case for search result RSS feed
1. If I am interested in item x in city y, so I search.
2. If none of the search results is satisfactory, so I wait for a few days and try to search again. This is too troublesome.
3. If there is RSS feed for my search criteria, I can use feed reader, e.g. Google Reader, Bloglines to do the search/pull specific feed for me


BTW, try to include more fields in search screen, e.g. price, city, category specific attributes.

thanks..i understand....this would be hard as coding is limited from my side.....rss base on region or category would be very though...will take note once this script could do the that

what is yoir suggestion ,i have plan to bulid similir website like your.Is that have a good market a visitor.Please get me some hlep.Recently we just get our Car Trader ready for the market.
