Here are some techniques for marketing online that worked for me personally.

1. Online Networking through communities
2. Writing articles and placing them online.
3. My newsletter
4. Running online workshops
5. The Free Traffic Bar free advertising system

so far, I've tested only a technique which is SEO. The result was pretty amazing. My blog from 0 hit boost up to 300+ hits within 3 days. But this technique require you to be specific in terms of keyword, which I think is good because it brings you more targetted traffic.

I've tried most of the methods above. So far, the best is referrals from search engines.

Of course you need to know the related keywords being searched a lot yet not so competitive. Pretty amazing results.
