Does Spam consider a Unique visit?

Dear all,

i have i curious question here, i am using Google analytics to track my daily Unique. and i found that currently my visitor always stay at 100++ Unique...

and my blog also receive quite number if spam everyday... so does this SPAM comment consider a Unique visit?

if is...that mean the number in google analytics are not accurate...

I think spam also consider as a unique visit.

I use StatCounter and it does not count spams as visitors at all.

what is StatCounter?? is it another visitor tracking software/service?

I'm using Mint.
Spammers also using random IP.
Mint does detect all different IP as unique.
