Spider loves "Sitemap" keyword better?

two link texts that link to a same page of links. Will search engine spider prefer the link text of "Sitemap"? Is using "Sitemap" keyword get better link index result?

Is it true? That's the question I was asking question leh~

I read somewhere that we should make a sitemap page for spiders. I see a SEO page make a internal link page and link it with "sitemap" keyword. That's why I am asking.

lol actually the purpose of sitemap is to delegate the PR to all other pages you have in your site instead of having high PR stuck in 1 page

Let's say I have a sitemap page. If I name a link to the page other than "sitemap", do I get the same result(spider index the links of the page)?

yes, spider crawls thru every link it finds, that's why google came up with the rel="nofollow" attribute for <a> tag to avoid link comment spams

I agree with what red@frittle said. The sitemap is just to guide the spider to crawl through your site in a more SE-friendly way. You can call it 'direction', 'sitelead' or 'GMAP'. I think it will get to the same result. I have yet to see/hear from any reliable source that google places a higher emphasis on the word 'sitemap'.

thank you for replies.

Let's drop about the "spider", how about human? Will human click "site map" better than other alternative work, example: Archives ?

Personally, I think people understand "site map" better than "archives". Well, I am thinking should I change the "Archives" in my blog to "Site map".

Yes it does

But put only at the index page only and the rating for all pages are share in equal ratio.

That's what the experts said io one of the ebook of SEO.

if you put in other pages. It will be crawl.

If you have only a few pages, not need la.

To make a good rating, more articles with keywords and not so abusive or spam keyword.
