If you are just starting up, you won't see any traffic for the first 3 months. If you are in a competitive niche, you won't even see any good traffic for the first 6 months.

But don't give up. Continue write good, unique content and try to update your site every day or two. Exchange links with people. Email people to promote your sites.

You will see your site ranks better in search engine over a longer period of time (3-6 months), and the more unique content your sites have, the more visitors you can get from search engine.

well I have a constant income from adsense over the past 6 month... zero income that was lol... it still have about $15 generated earlier when I create the account.
I wonder if adsence would suspend my account if it was not active (no traffic)

My past experience is $5-$30 per month, but I got banned since last year July for unknown reason. I tried appeal, but rejected. Anyway, I will be back when the time coming and at the same time wait for YPN.

what i know, usually ppl get banned becoz they do click adsense ad by themselves. google can detect who wants to cheat like that coz i ever get warned once. hahahaha!

or

if sum1 had click ur adsense so many2 times, google will think u want to cheat also. so, it's easy to get banned even if u do nothing =p

but i heard google may send you a warning in case anything suspicious about clicks issue. the webmaster itself should also know if anything suspiscious about their adsense performance and report to google in anything amiss.
it will be really unfair to get banned WITHOUT any reason, don't you agree?
people are trying real hard to get their adsense running just to make a few bucks for all the hard work and the end get suspended
thats mati katak

First time I get a warning email then I immediate move all my sites to parked (scary me). Wait for sometime then only slowly move back. A few months later, they banned me without warning. Why I said unknown reason, because I don't do anything against their policy. Never click on own ads even I saw any interesting ads I will right copy copy link location then cut all argument from the link and paste into address bar. But I recall back, maybe is because I press too many times reload when redesign my sites or someone attack me to get me ban.

That's not true. I can create a website this minute and get instant traffic.

You just need to know how and where to promote it:
- forums
- linkdumps
- articles
- press releases
- ads
- social bookmarks
- bulletins
etc.

Apologise, the traffic I implied there was 'natural search engine traffic'.

So far as my exp the Google Adwords and Email Marketing are the best effective ones.
However if we have small ad budget then FREE posting is the good choice untill we get sufficient amount and knowledge to do the paid advertising.

i don't think reloading your webpage will get your banned from google adsense account. I've done so many times during my web design stage and it was ok.

Actually, the more you reload your page, the more impression you will get in your acc statistic and this will only decrease your cpm rate which will effect your earning only. Lowering your earning that is.

i think maybe is the way you place the ads which bring too much attention to it. Like putting picture beside the ads or have a header which says "sponsored adds". Google also don't like traffic that coming those auto traffic generator like autosurf, matrix system, etc..

i once got warned also from google... that time i was only using trafficswarm and trafficflare only. Once stop using them, there no more warning from them.

Once thing bad bout google is that their warning email are damm general and it only ask us to follow their policy without mentioning specifically what is wrong with our site....

I agree with limcs, your website traffic will start from zero but it will increase as the time goes by with your doing the right marketing.

It took me 6 months to hit US100 and another 1-2 months to get the check cleared. Now Google has never missed sending their check every month. But you need to work hard on the content and marketing to have this achieved.

In the earlier stage, I did clicking few of my own ads without knowing it's against the TOC. Upon realizing I sent an apology email to Google; luckily they did not ban me.
