after 6 month my website pagerank drastic change
hi guys

i still in confuse right now, because my 6 month old website already pagerank 6 i thought pagerank 6 website got hit million of visitor every day right? but my site is average 100-150 uniques visitor everyday. did google accidently wrong pagerank my site but i already make a few survey from iwebtool.com and most of google site show that website is pagerank 6 . can someone point me what is the problem?

it wasn't a problem btw..
possibly, you web had some backlink from higher PR.
and this is a very good and quality backlink..

I also got PR4 in only 5month. (this the best achievements for me now)
but.. somebody else can get pr5 in just 3 month

actually at first i think google maybe mistaken put my site pagerank6 and i wait for 2 weeks and it still like that and maybe that site is really quality site

btw : yah that site got link from Official Wordpress.org website and a few hundred backlink from social bookmark like del.icio.us and thank you

mysticmind : you think how much should i put price tag if i want to sell link for pagerank 6 website?

Moral of the story? Pagerank is quite useless.

I've a PR6 site that's dropped from Google's index.

I've a PR5 site with its PR4 forum, which together, bring in 21,000 visitors/day.

textlink ads only allow pr4 above.

btw, PR's not everything.. even the traffic (if you think like that?) .. the important is... "Does you site sell?" right?

a point to note: PR ranking is NOT EQUAL to search engine ranking.

I have a site which is only 1 month old, still under construction, is already achieving a PR 3 (think some sites find the current content useful, so they linked to me), and yet it is nowhere near the top 200 for the Google ranking.

I guess PR is only measure the strength of your incoming links, not an indication of your search engine ranking.
