it's a hyperlink my fren. without this, u could have ur website to have any links. say u wanna have a textlink in ur website to link this forum (where when user click on tat link, he/she will be brought to this forum) then u have to insert this code eg :
Quote:
<a href="http://www.webmastermalaysia.com">WebMasterMalaysia</a>
then it will appear as this ->
WebMasterMalaysia

When being discussed as being useful for search engine optimization, it really takes on two roles -

First, it is technically the text you see with any link. No problem there.

But it is also read by the search engines, so you want to make it as close to your subject content as possible. Just using the term "airplanes" as an example, you would want to make the term "airplanes" the link text, so it would take the reader to the correct place and also be read by the search engines.

So instead of "To find out more about airplanes, click here. You would set it up to read something like "Here is where you can find out more about airplanes. Or you could even have it in the middle of a sentence. Such as "Flying airplanes is an expensive hobby.

In fact, you could have a whole paragraph or even a whole page with "airplanes" mentioned 10 times, each time as anchor text, giving you 10 links the search engines would find. Of course, you don't want to use it too much, or it will lower your ranking.

And the actual link does not have to have the word "airplanes" in it. The links could all go to airtransport.com or some such site.
