Is the RM500 for 10 years or 100 years?

As you have said, the domain needs to be renewed every 10 years because that is the maximum number of years for the registration. Can't you also auto-renew a domain on a yearly basis so as not to lose it without having to pay a 10 yer upfront fee?

AFAIK, auto-renew means you don't have to give specific instruction for the renewal. The company will automatically renew the domain. At that time, they will charge your credit card or PayPal etc for the next payment. Isn't that how it works?

So, in 10 years time, how will the company charge for the payment? Also, since there is a max of 10 years, the duration recorded by the registry will be eg 2007 - 2017. What is the proof that you have actually paid for 100 years?

This is the offer i got from my provider for resell domain and hosting. They reward me with 20 100yrs domains name. This domain name i can bundle with my hosting package. I can offer my customer hosting account+100yrs domains. instead of giving it away for free I am selling it.

but buy limied 100years for own domain got some drawback also...if for me i will try to buy short term then renew yearly...i wil feel more safety..no need scare company runaway...
