Hosting recommendation needed - For low traffic/usage web
Hi,
I've got some frens looking for hosting/domain. All static pages, no database, no server scripts -- just brochure sites for companies. Therefore it seems too much to pay for Exabytes, since the sites have very 'low' requirements. Frankly, 1~10Mb space and 1GB transfer/bandwidth will be more than enough (of course hosting providers are giving much more than this) ![]() Any recommendation for reliable and low-price(<RM200) hosting in Malaysia? With at least a few years in business. Thanks. PS: I've used Dinsol.com (India) about 8 years ago and seems they're still going strong 2day .... anyway, need recommendation for Malaysian hosting.Last edited by yonghs : 05-04-2008 at 09:30 AM. |

Hi,
Roughly how much space are you looking at as well as bandwidth? We are a Singpore based hosting company with servers in Singapore. The ping is just an additional 10ms plus minus. Speed wise will be about just the same as a malaysia based server. I can offer you a free trial to test out our service before deciding. Regards, Derrick Goh sgWebster Solutions Pte Ltd |

These are few things to consider to select a webhost.
1) Storage Space and DataTransfer: Note: It is extremely important to look at the monthly data transfer bandwidth included in a plan. 2) reliability : 3) Technical Support 4) Added Features Examples of services include also visitor counts, e-mail forwarding options, real time chat, shopping cart functions, and web statistics. The list goes on. 5) Pricing Structure A good web host company will not tie you into a long-term contract that will prevent you moving if you don't like the service. 6) What type of Web hosting server is offered? 7) Does the Web hosting server provide back-up and recovery services : Read the Terms of Service: The most important thing to remember is to research and shop around. The more requirements you have, the most likely you pay more. But paying for a quality web host provider is a good investment especially if your business will in the future become more reliant on the Internet. My recommendation is Drupalvaluehosting.com |
