Hi Hostsvic, this directory is setup no long ago, so the traffic level still not able to offer any paid banner. But it's PR just updated (from 0 to 3) so i would expect the traffic to pickup soon.... :-)

Last time, i was so frustrated to find a hosting based in Malaysia, that doesn't need a credit card as a payment method.

I was thinking of paying using Maybank2u or else.

But now, I'd already have a credit card, where I can find myself a host from overseas

I don't want people with no credit card facing the same problem with me.

So I just setup http://ringgithosting.com , where the motto is 'A Guide to Malaysia Web Hosting'.

I don't know there's a website created by fred, http://www.top-web-hosting-directory...ndex.php?c=20.

Maybe it's just an alternative.

Nice web site you have there By the way, how do we submit ourselves to your database?

In my opinion, besides credit card problem, Malaysian prefer local servers because the speed is faster than US server. Local server is useful when the user is checking mail daily. Of course, not to mention about local audience.

Don't forget, pricing still main issue for Malaysian market.

I'm using US server and so far I don't have any problem with email & webmail or ftp..

yes, that's true about the pricing..
somehow, i'm still using US Server *sigh*
i'm totally lost about local market pricing..
and some are extra-ordinary unacceptably unreasonably overpriced
(i'm not telling all Malaysian Hosting, just some of them)

*ugh* it's a pain without a credit card..
things run smoothly, and i'm having a wide variety selection.. with credit card
