Parked domain
If you have a website with domain name - Mywebsite.COM, but later you have another domain name - Mywebsite.NET. You do not want to create another website for Mywebsite.NET(yet), so you park Mywebsite.NET on Mywebsite.COM. User who visit Mywebsite.NET will see Mywebsite.com Addon domain Allow you to host ANOTHER website using ANOTHER domain name on your single account. The extra website will be a directory of your current hosting account. In short, addon domain allow you to host multiple website(each with own domain name) under Single hosting account. Parked domain just parking, still the same website. Does these help you to understand the different?
