as local provider, they can arrange hardware upgrade at midnight, why doing this in busiest hours.

I get a feeling that mercumaya is cheating us on the bandwidth and the uptime. >:-(

does that happen everyday? It's common for short downtime due to reboot, software or hardware upgrades. There is no 100% uptime but hopes for the best

as local provider, they can arrange hardware upgrade at midnight, why doing this in busiest hours.

Hardware upgrade at night will be expensive, considering not many people are willing to go down to the datacenter to do the job.

That's why there are some hosts that prefer US datacenters. We can just ask them to perform the upgrades during their day (while we're sleeping) and everything should be done at the beginning of our day. Hassle free, isn't it
