hi, i just wanna know does anyone here host with
www.i-hosting.com.my (.ws)
their plans quite good.
what do u think about their company?
trustworthy?

I have seen their site last time. Somehow a well known brand in hosting in Aussie. They have been long in business majory targeting Aussie market. The owner should be a malaysian who is studying there or migrating

They sounds to me like a hackers favourite target too. Feel sorry for the posters experience in WHT.

Also, how many of us likes to have support by tickets? I don't...

That's right. I dislike ticket support. Tickets makes you feel like queing up in a bank waiting for your turn

Anyone who is going to host with I-Hosting.ws is either :

1. Looking For Trouble
2. Looking For A Really Slow Site
3. Looking For A Very Clogged-Up Server
4. Trying To Pay Nothing For Something

I used to be a reseller with them. They created my account wrongly and I could not do anything for a few days. I emailed them and they answered me in 7 days. WOW, 1 WEEK! What great support!

The only way to get to them is through Email. What do you think? Someone who doesn't even have an address. Someone who doesn't even have a phone number.

Also, think about this... You will be getting for less than RM 100 per month, UNLIMITED EVERYTHING. Do you guyz think that it is possible? RM 100? I can assure you, their server id most definitely OVERSOLD BIG TIME!

Other than ticket system, I can't think of a way for my colleagues & staff to reply to emails sent to sales & support desk. Ticket system works perfectly if you have multiple staff working on sales & support desk.

Yes, that's the advantage of ticketing.. as I said just like in the bank waiting for your turn among many counters

Ticket or no ticket as long as it's not too long to get a reply

I've been tracking I-Hosting.ws for quite some time already. I used to be a reseller with them but well... I went out from their network a long long long long time ago. I'd rather be having my own servers than to have someone else do it for me and me being clueless all the time. :P

So, if you are thinking of getting your webhosting from them, I'd suggest that you'd think again. Another thing is that your tickets will only get answered when they turn on their PC to check emails or etc. Thus meaning, it might be more than 24 hours before they reply to you.

Well CKITA, I'm just telling you from a true life experience.

I totally do not like their service. I hate it in fact. They give the worst kinda of support and if the server goes down, so does they.

I'd totally suggest that you go with someone else other than them.

Bought a reseller plan. Think how frustrating that would be if your hosting company does not inform you of any outages and etc. Theu just disappear.

How fun would that be?

During the ANZ fun time, their server was down for at least 7 days or more. I had a friend hosting with them (reseller too). He asked them what's wrong. Had more than 15 accounts with them. The answer came about 5 days from the 1st day...

Answer was "We had some server problems, it would be resolved soon". When they are on ICQ, most of the time, they do not answer your MSG's. How's that for customer support?

I don't know about anyone else out there but if my server is down for 2 days, I'd make sure I get a new server up and running with their backups by the end of the third day.

I'm not crazy and I do intend to keep my clients. They need their website running and their emails. I too need my emails, clients and etc. As stated on our website "Your (our clients') success is Our success". Without them I'm nothing. So my success comes from their success.

Hope anyone reading this post will consider 10 times or more and after doing so, think another 10 times or more about opening an account with I-Hosting.

Fortunately, they do not give you an address, a phone number or anything else. Only thing they give you is ICQ and Email.

Don't you just hosting companies like that?
