I used to do server admins but no longer do I do that. It's too much hassle and too much follow up work.

I might do it for people in the US where they understand when you're done, you're done. But in Malaysia, it really stupid. You can be done on securing the server and when they upgrade and play with the system and when the config changes and etc, they blame it all at the server admins.

I'm tired of the stupid BS that Malaysians tell me after a job is done. It's like charging $200 for a lifetime thingy... that's just pure stupid.

A website never been hacked before doesn't mean that it is secure anyway.

btw, I wonder how many webmasters use secure password for their account

php-nuke is one of the most active CMS. You just have to make sure that you keep yourself updated with their release log as since they have a big community, exploits can be discovered faster and they will release patches for it. I would say php-nuke should be reliable.

To what level the system could be compromised with PHP-Nuke exploit? It may caused the server being rooted or just at the application level?

Seems like you are under attack my fren. Same thing here, was down from 21FEB till 26FEB, constantly under attack. Basically it is not your fault. Nothing you can do to prevent an attack. Luckily I got good data center architecture, only effect my service domain, rest is all up and running, email, ftp etc. None of my customers were effected.
