A few questions regarding mambo & hosting

Hi guys, noobie here.

here's what i'm planning to have on my domain

1 mambo
2 flash
3 unlimited bandwidth (i know 20GB on some site is huge, but you never know )
4 ASP

so basically what i'm looking for is a webhost with asp/ms access/ & mambo (php/mysql) support with unlimited bandwidth - pretty simple request, isnt it..

anyone could offer any webhost, etc, i'd like to thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

So, are you looking for a Windows server with PHP support... or a Linux server with ASP support? However, please note that the best match is "windows + asp" and "Linux + PHP". I think you will run into some unexpected issues if having both together... Just my 2 cent.

Perhaps you are looking for a dedicated server hosting?

Hello,

Perhaps you may estimate how many visitors will come to your site per month and slightly calculate the maximum bandwidth usage.

For your information, there is no "Unlimited Bandwidth". You may visit here http://www.findmyhosting.com/truthunlimited.htm for more information.

asp + php

ahh..thank u guys..

i see..i've always thought that since i'm running a porn site, the bandwidth will always be an issue (just kidding).

the reason why i need asp is mainly because i'm not very familiar with php- being on win/mac platform for so many years, but i guess now that i've seen mambo at work, there's little excuse i have not to learn php.

lcf - not in the meantime, since i'm running tight on annual budget, dedicated hosting is not in the card yet.

i guess it's probably not wise to ask for hosting company here so i'll stick with my old one (if they support php/mysql) .

again, thank you.

Windows server supports basic PHP with MySQL dabatase with added module but it's not recommended to run something like mambo which is using very advanced php coding. Linux server cannot run ASP. So i think in 2 different platform, you can try to have 2 different host server (win & linux).
