It's a sad thing when your hardware fails. Well can't help it. It all depends on your luck. So users should not only relly on their hosting company for back up. Back up your own files so you won't feel frustrated whenever this unforseen circumstances happens.

yes i fully agree with animorphs. my website also hosted by hive and got effected with the hardware failures... i was pissed aswell but remained calm and emailed albert few times for assurance. he told bout the hardware failures and trying his best to transfer everything to a new spot. as long he updates me the progress, im ok with it. i know how it feels. i worked as a system admin b4. i gave him time until the time when i decide to switch host and ask for refunds. glad it ends earlier than i expected. gud job albert.

Although I have never hosted with Hive before, but what I can tell you is the other day when I talked to Albert, he was telling me that there was a really BIG problem with the servers around and that he is on the verge of changing DC's.
So, that might be the problem that he's facing right now. At least give him the benefit of doubt and perhaps ask him what's going on. I'm sure that Albert will be more than willing to help and will be giving you guyz an explanation about what is going on and etc. Have a wonderful day. Ps. For those who have been with Welltodo before, I'm sure you'd agree that cheap hosting is not necessarily bad. Only overloaded or over crowded servers are bad. |

Sorry I have been busy a while recently.
Past problems are hard drive failure problems and we got mad with our provider FOR our customers but they got mad at us back! That is the reason we are changing provider for our oversea server. We've relocate all our servers and change our vendors with overseas partners which we did that recently. All old servers are shut down by October. They are also outdated and full of risks. We've also bought our own hardware and manage them by our ownself for local server & customers. All new servers now runs on Raid 1. It is still adviseable for customers to have their own offline backup. Local clients and overseas customers are now hosted in different servers. With all our efforts taken past months (and expanding our capacity), they are all completed now and our services are back. In improving our technical support services, we are also installing various softwares inluding ticket support systems, online monitering & sms-integration via local company. We only ask our customers NOT to over-load our servers with huge video and music files if you want to have total uptime! Thank you ![]() Albert @ Hive
