after few weeks of testing, I think hive's servic is very lousy. although they got a cheap price for everyone, their server is very lousy one .
why i say that ?
as a server they load about 250++ domain in a server(for cheap subscriber)
mysql server usually broke down 2 or more times a day. one times need about 15 min to recover .
one month, they server will down at least one day(maybe already up tp 99% guarantee ).
now one of the server's harddisk down for few days ...... i dont think hive do anything to help it ... .
at last, dont choose cheap package and use hive anymore .. although they give some quarantee.

Glad now you realise that cheap price is not everything. I use to host my site at hive before for few months, but I never complaint because I know for that price, I should expert that kind of service. Of you want better service, sure the price is expensive too.

BTW, you can contact Albert Lai, he's really helpful and never dissappoint me when I my site have a problem with his server.

Albert still working on it. recovering data from failed hdd isnt simple job so just keep waiting till the data has been recovered. Btw i can see the server is up now and i assume the data reload process just in progress.

FYI i`ve been hosted there too n now migrated oredi :P and remember... " u get for what u pay " its is karma lol not kamasutra

it's not 1% all the way..
if A MONTH = 100 days .. yezza.. it's 1% .. but one month is 30 day..
should be = 1/30 * 100 = 3.33%
but what about a week? = 25% is lost.. uptime only 75% huh!

anyway..
i did a forum setup and customization for a friend..
hosted at hive, i not complete the works yet.. the progress is about 90% , just some little thingy to hacks etc..

Sadly.. the web is hosted in HiveHosting.. and not reach 1 month yet! ..
then since last week.. i try to login etc etc to complete my works. but cant.
later...
You know what happen? ..
All the file, the data, bla bla LOST!. WTF!!! ..
the person those hire me for freelance seem like crying in heart..
and i also blank.. yes.. you all know.. even we had a backup file.. but of course not everything!..

it's a dillema..
he already pay me, and now this happen..
what should i do?..
so nmind.. because i still had a kind heart..
i can give and take with him..
i mean (install back.. hacking back the code.. matching the design with the code etc.. )

After had a very bad services with hive. he asked me later.. where is the better place to host site.. bla bla bla.. he ask me about this host.. that host bla bla..
you got what u pay bla bla..
now changed host to the blablablablahost.com ..

What i want to tell here is..

From begining i told hive host.. be serious in this.. Exspecially the Support Email..
Reply ur client email.. no matter how you''re hard working behind the scene..
Peoples hates unanswered email.. even no feedback at all!

Actually Albert is nice person... but the hive is provideded low quality hosting services..
As their xeon server was down about few days due 2 hardrive failure.
now sum acc. was recovered but sum not..or still in progress...
I've get back my data yesterday... but it's okie for me since I've backed up my files into other server b4 the failure was occured.. it's 2 luck for me.. since they had already changed my DNS 2 point another server.

Since albert promised that the xeon server will be moved back to Malaysia might be next month. so I will trust him for 1 more time.
