Hi sloth,
It is very hard to say an alternative of HiveHosting. Reason being? Well, it can be you like their cPanel hosting account and therefore you are looking for a cPanel Hosting provider, or you like a Dual Xeon server like what they are running so that you are sharing a server that is capable of sustaining more users, thus, your site is able to utilize more server resource, or it could be their network provider (Servermatrix, SAVVIS... etc) that makes you love to stay back to the same network again? Last but not least, it could be a provider that offers hosting plan that has the same pricing as HiveHosting and you would like to look for another with such price as well?

Well, when Gigabyte Hosting is concerned, I can say that you really get what you've paid for. Anyways, feel free to try www.exabytes.com.my if you are really tempted to get a Gigabyte Hosting account. So far they are the only one who is doing it well without complaints from customers in forums that I have participated.

Thank you and hope that helps.

Thumbs down bad to worse

i didnt expect for hives to be up most of the time because of the price. so i bought one plan just for my personal blog and picture gallery. i don't expect ppl to check my website everyday so i say, wat the hey and bought a plan from hives.

then ya la.. went down sometimes..

but lately.. the frequency of it going down was becoming unbearable. it was like trying to win lottery just to open my website.
