haloo...
I have an enquiry on hosting. I understand most Malaysia provider hosted in Myloca, where it down kinda frequent. My boss wishes to have a hosting which promises 100% uptime. If my website hosting at a provider's is down, then he/she will be able to divert it to another server maybe at another location. Thus allowing my website to function 100%. Anyone know where can I have this service? If yes, please let me urgently.. Thanks! |

Hi qwerty,
I cannot think of a company who does such service but companies that use clustered server will give you a higher reliability service. Clustered server has a separate server for http, mySQL and mailserver. Thus, the chances of all the server services to screw up will be much lower compared to everything in a single server. Somehow, this cannot guarantee a 100% uptime on a particular server services, for example the http. You may ask at http://www.webhostingtalk.com for clustered shared hosting solution. Oh by the way, be aware of the terms used in 100% uptime. Make sure you know the differences between 100% Network Uptime and 100% Server Uptime. Good luck! |
