Thumbs down Exabytes - I am VERY Dissapointed
I am very dissapointed with exabytes, although they have very prompt and fast support, but i guess is all just a template reply. All are the same. They have frequent downtime and my site is very slow and sometimes cant load at all.www.bizolink.com & www.jobseekertalk.com hosted at 202.75.48.40 shared by 252 domain. What the heck, feel regret for purchasing this exabytes web hosting. Fix than problem occur...what the heck this fellow doing? find the root cause, not simply fix and problem still same. After 2 to 3 days logon to my site feel dissapointed, sure got problem. Dont BUY exabytes...poor poor quality server.

I'm sorry to hear about your problem with Exabytes. Your sites seemed loading fast and fine. And 252 domain names on a single server is consider less. I heard most of the web host got their server more than 400 sites, and some got it till 1000+.

I, myself am a client of Exabytes too. I faced similar downtime 1 week ago, emailed their support, got a reply in few minutes and it seemed that it was a data center routing problem. The problem was fixed in hour time and after that it was smooth sailing. Beside the rare hiccups, everything has been fine for me hosting with them.

The number of domain hosted on one server is very dependent on the hardware they use. Hosting 200+ domains is not a big problem if the hardware can support this ammount of domains.

Not to forget,
200 domains can be of ALL dynamic active sites or ALL idle sites.

It makes a huge difference.

You cannot judge a server's performance by the number of hosted sites. A more accurate approach is to find out what is the server specifications, and its average server load per day.

cos occasionally i find it hard to load. already experienced a few times difficult to access this site?

Yes, WebmasterMalaysia.com is hosted on a Semi-Dedicated Server, sharing the server with another 4 accounts.

You might still experience slow accessing if:
- Server is performing backup (at night)
- Network problems

Action has been taken to suspend the site which caused our server to become overloaded during the past few days.

this client is now complaining we suspend his site

Thanks for all feedback, anyway, we have decided to shift hosting, sorry for that, is a decision from all partner. We still have ppl complaining slow...anyway, Exabytes does have a good support and credibility. Keep the good works.

Same here, i just signup few days ago..

They place me on a high load server (most of the time 2~10, sometimes >20, 80+ is the highest i have seen), that server down almost every night. they can't actually achieve 99.5% uptime guarantee...

and now they have network problem.... haiz... lot of problems... really disappointed..

At night, is the time where our nightly script running which will cause the server load high.

And FYI, we nor the data center have any network problem. However, I understand that there are some issues on TM's International link:

Accessing webmastermalaysia.com is also very difficult....

almost impossible to load a page fully, therefore im using a proxy server to get here now...

ksstudio,

as the outage notice, it only affect "streamyx" user at midnight

also, i want to stay with malaysia server coz most of my visitors are from malaysia.
