Giz Technology ?

Hi guys..uh..i wanna know what ya'll think about Giz Technology. I know its still new..well..i think its new..*bleh..2006 it says there..anyway..the whole plan looks kinda ok to me..and i did think of getting their service..but i just wanna know wat ya'll think of it..and what advice you can gimme..

Uhmmm .. . hope this is not self advertise. But here goes, this is my comment.

1. there is no proper phone or address in the website. Email is good but better have communication tools like phone availible.

2. The hosting code of ethics logo does not verified the giztech. It isnot clickable. A big no-no

3. Operate in one server (base on server status). Do they have backup server ? Offsite backup server ? Second backup server ?

Hope this will help you decision.

My advice is go to the proven solution If you would like to take risk, it's fine (and I know the RM60/year is tempting..lol), just don't put any heavy/income reliant websites on it.

Looks confusing. I see two more parties there Having hivehosting as the billing & technical contact party and another company as MYNIC invoicing party.

A company mailing address on the web site is very important, IMO.

Since you ask in public forum for more information here goes.

1. The server is located in singapore. In QALA IDC.

2. Purchase reseller plan from cyberaxis.com.sg.

3. Total domain in the server is 219 domains. Good

4. Giztech.com.my onwer = Gizdisk.com onwer. Bad information for domain.

5. The IP address : 203.211.131.54 is belong to CUBENIX.com. The domain is expired.

I think I will stop here. If any information here is wrong, please do notice me a.s.a.p. All this info are based on some googling.

A quick check on their DNS shows that cyberaxis.com.sg is their reseller account provider. Looks like cyberaxis offers weak transparent reseller accounts (or it is not transparent at all?)

Just my own opinion: They are definitely overselling their services. It is impossible to sell such large disk space using just a reseller account if you do not oversell.

Please don't misunderstand us. I believe fivio has the same intention as mine: we just help you to do research on the hosting company, and give you the opinion based on the facts that we find. As you can see, both of us are hosting providers ourselves, some may think that we are biased, but we are at a better standing when it comes to analysing the companies in our industry mainly because we have the knowledge in this field.

We post our opinions just to assist you. The conclusion is, for this particular company, the risk is there (quite high) but we are not refraining you from joining them. You can try, preferably with non-mission critical sites.

after reading the posts..i did realise that the service does look confusing..and so..i thank you for helping me.. plus i dare not take the risk..so..most prolly..i wont take their service..

You can try to purchase the service from them, and see how it goes. But do not forgot to do review about them here
