A bit off topic here.

Do you know how can we combine a few DNS into their record? I just realized we have only 50 domains listed there :P I believe they traced the domain using ns.kkhost.net but we did not use that NS for a long time because we have another few pairs of DNS which gives our clients better anonymity.

Furthermore, I think the .my domains are not listed there because I remember our ns.kkhost.net has quite a number of .my domains as well.

No risk signing up from exabytes, since they are really established and even this forum belongs to them. As for fivio, I can see a professional representative in the forums, who is definitely not like some providers who are not professional and do open flaming in forums. I will always choose a professional provider by all means

I would also recomend kkhost.net. But it seems that your requirement is local network then it is a pity.

For you information, KKHOST.net have been in this industry since I still a webdesign, that is almost 5 years I think. And they still alive, a good indication :P

honestly, I prefer NetKL.com. I can't see anything bad from them. What I mean bad is anything lose to other companies. 400MB+7GB bandwidth is more than enough, at an affordable price + free domain. Alright, maybe the 1 MySQL database is too little, I guess. lol. I think I'll host with them (NetKL).

As for fivio.com, I like those "unlimited"s, but I prefer more space and fivio lost to NetKL on the "free domain if paid yearly" promotion. :P I can't deny that that is a very good offer.

Soon, after this school club website, I'm planning to launch my own blog.. maybe I might look forward to host with fivio. (own blog can coz own $$, sch club is club's fund )

I still have some enquiries:

1. What does parked domains mean? If one company offer 1 parked domain for one of its plan, how to make use of that "parked domain"? Izit for booking or something?
2. Add-on domains? If one plan allows 1 add-on domain, does it mean that I can open two diff websites (diff domain names) under one web host account?

Parked domain is total domain quantity allowed in your hosting account.


Add-on domains? If one plan allows 1 add-on domain, does it mean that I can open two diff websites (diff domain names) under one web host account?

Add-on domain means that you can put additional domain into your account.
Let say you have mysekolah.com as your primary domain. Then you decided to have a second domain myschool.com, then instead you have to purchased new hosting account, you can only add it into your current account.

No worries! Good luck hosting with NetKL! Before you sign up, try asking them whether they can give you extra 1 or 2 databases :P I'm sure they won't mind that. Just get the DBs first for future use, LOL

Just to add-on to fivio's explanation on Add-on domain:
One bad thing about Add-on domain if compared to getting 2 hosting account is, you cannot control the bandwidth for the domains. One domain can drain another domain's bandwidth because total bandwidth is for the hosting account but not the domain. So, plan well!

erm, if total parked domain = 1 means one hosting account can have two domains or one?

parked domain = 0 means only 1 domain? or cant have domain? @.@

edit: by the way, any malaysian company selling web templates?

You can have only 1 domain, another is just to be parked on it: redirect to the main domain.

I can't recall any malaysian companies that sell web templates, but you get more variety at Web Templates, Flash Templates, Website Templates Design - Template Monster
