Upgrade it as your website become popular

Most webhosting company will have upgrade option. So you do have to worry about "not enough space or bandwitdh". Start small.

I will depends on what kind of software you wish to install, HDD size is not matter nowadays.. And together do you need to have extensive email services. Usually email require bigger space. And together also depends how heavy the applications. Most of the hosting provider support common langguage, such as ASP / .NET/.NET2 for windows, PHP for both windows and linux package.

If yourself is not technical person, see if the hosting provider provider assistance either paid or free to help you up on up the site or migration.

Hi,
If your script runs on PHP+mySQL, just go for Linux hosting. They are very cheap.

For a start, I believe 50MB diskspace + 1GB bandwidth is definitely more than enough. Again, look for a reliable hosting provider, usually what you pay is what you will get.

Like I said earlier, start small. If you purchase large hosting but did not use it. It will go to waste.

You can look around to find a good reliable hosting. But how you define "reliable" is another story. Check it with your budget to find most suitable hosting for your need.
