i need your opinion about Malaysiahoster because i want to take a survey for this hosting.anybody have tried this hosting before?

I thought of getting their service before too.. but that time still dont have free domain.. they should have upgrade their offer earlier.. then I'll be their customer.. Lol. give it a try. although it's new, I believe they're good (good price, good features)

Malaysiahoster.com has hidden additional charges of RM5 for set up fees for domain.
Although in their website stated,
*) No hidden fee or extra charge
**) Above price for yearly

The bizzare thing was, on the same year. I asked them regarding the price
- eg. domain.com is it RM35 ONLY and no additional charges & doesn't hv to buy the web hosting along.
Their replied was as stated as been written & also at their website.

Thus first few purchase, I was charged RM35 only per domain.
Then less than 1 month later, on (Fri. 16/02/2007) when I went to make another purchase.
Their system generated:
"Error Could not contact registry to lookup domain" for the whole day after several attempts.

After contacting their support team, which weren't very polite & replied rather crudely then the system is up again. Then it's down again.
I even used different Pc @ diff. networks to test out their system. Saje lah just to test if anything's wrong at my side.

When the transaction process, there appears an additional RM5 charges.
Which I was never informed off & NEVER advertised on their website.
I even double check my past sales records with them no additional charges before & when thus emailed them again & this time they said:
" If you only buy domain name then you will get a charge RM 5, its not an error.
If you buy with webhosting then there will be no charge for domain name."

I don't mind paying what's stated on the website clearly.
I wondered if anyone else ever experienced this before?

It's holiday seasons, now there's duplicate work for requesting the client to make extra payment & to go to the bank to make extra payment transaction.
Just for the hiddden extra RM5.

I'm not using this hosting yet, but i really don't like hiding cost even it cost me 20 cents. This company should stated it early, and it seem like i'll wait until next year to evaluate this company performance.

I was already considering buying this... but now I know about the hidden charges there is no chance. Can any rep from there confirm that they have removed all hidden charges (i.e. the price you see first is the price you pay at the checkout in all cases).

If you want to charge RM5 more for domains ordered without hosting then the domain costs RM40 (not RM35) and you offer RM5 discount when ordered with hosting.

Yeah, even the 2nd domain didn't get discounts as mentioned earlier

But that's ok.
But the fact, is the hidden charges which really created all the conflicts between me, my client & their web hosting staff.

Eventually it's TOOK them 1 week later to finally process the domain
& thru out those time I emailed to them daily asking to clarifications
and eventually what I found out during CNY their staff will be on leave
thus unable to process :O.
But CNY's only for 2 days, and I made the payment & contacted them 2 days before CNY.
Only 1 day ago, they finally enable the domain account for me.
Anway even after they processed the 2nd domain, they never gave me an invoice & reply my email seeking for it.

I've bought web hostings, domain hostings from several local companies before including exabytes, ipserverone & etc.
This IS the FIRST time, I experienced such service.

Seriously, by the power of Internet & this forum
I hope more ppl. will be educated of their consumers' rights
& to take precautions.

To anyone working the web hosting/domain hosting companies,
if you want a loyal steady customer & you want MONEY;
PLEASE don't post hidden fees
& don't ever treat your clients like noobs.
