anyways..i have been reading..perhaps i'll get my hosting provider to move me to the local servers instead..

Are you referring to network connections? Or are you referring to the servers or technical support?

How about the level of technical support? Are they fast in responding to problems at the DC? Do you get better servers there than locally for the same price, like how you can in the US DCs?

Hi,
So far I have not faced any problems that I require the technical support from DCs in Singapore. As we are colocating our servers in our rack in EXPAN, I have my technicians who look after the servers for me.

US servers, on the other hand, are dedicated servers. The hardware is managed by the provider. Again, so far we have not experienced any issues that we need the help from our provider (only requested rDNS setup long time ago) and *touchwood* the hardware are still working fine.
