Let say if i receive a cheque from Google in USD, can we TT to our local bank? and how to do it?

Cheque is just a piece of paper and TT are Telegraphic Transafer (digital transfer).... both are different and google will only send cheque and don't do TT.

if you receive any overseas/foreign cheque... just bank it in your local bank account will do.. it will usually take about 3 to 5 weeks to clear... the bank will convert the USD to RM according to their own rate...

I think TT is only available to certain publishers, not sure if any Malaysians are given the option to do it though.

Just bank in the cheque into your bank account. I think HSBC has the best rate (which is the bank I'm using for all my adsense cheque) now.

how much is HSBC charging??
i'm using Alliance Bank and it charge RM30 per foreign cheque...

I think CIMB rates is quite reasonable. They sent me the rates below after I enquire about it through e-mail:

Commission

* 0.1% of the collection amount (subject to a minimum of RM5 and a maximum of RM100)

Stamp Duty

* RM0.15 per item

Postage

* RM5 per item

If the amount is above UDS1000 then we will charge agent charges UDS15 per cheque.

It takes 1 month+ to clear the cheque though. I think LiewCF has did a very good roundup at his blog.
