sorry for keeping quite on this as i need more time to get a more data for accurate analysis. Oklah.. the below is my findings over a period of 24 days..

Result #1
Date: 12 - 19 Sept (8 days period)
Ads type: only 180 X 150 Banner (No poll - lightweight)
Total Impression: 6,890
Total Clicks: 13
Total Revenue: RM7.6++

Result #2
Date: 20 - 27 Sept (8 days period)
Ads type: 2 ads
i. 180 X 150 Banner (No poll - lightweight)
ii. 468 X 60 Banner (No poll - lightweight)
Total Impression: 12,965
Total Clicks: 12
Total Revenue: RM9.3++

Comparing result 1 and 2, the impression do doubled but i only got slight increase of earning. Upon checking with my G Analytics, during the period of result 2, i noticed that there are increase of visitor. So i wasn't that sure whether it was the increase of visitor that make up the extra revenue.

So i ran a third test below:-

Result #3
Date: 28 Sept - 5 Oct (8 days period)
Ads type: only 468 X 60 Banner (No poll - lightweight)
Total Impression: 6886
Total Clicks: 11
Total Revenue: RM1.8++

On Result 3, i used only 468 X 60 ads and the earning drop like hell.. 99% the revenue from this adstype revenue are coming from clicks... i think this type of ads are all CPC instead of CPM. With this i concluded that the slight increase revenue in result 2 are all from CPC earning.

Maybe you all can test further with different ads type. I can't use the other ads type coz my site doesn't fit them. Hopefully you guys can share your findings and we all make money together...

emm.. i'm putting this result in my coming blog too...

seen like the 468 X 60 Banner did not earn much on CPM on your result 3

most of the ad on this format are CPC... thats why its low in revenue...
by the way.. have you guys noticed adverlets are very slow in showing ads on our site recently?

Here are the most profitable ad formats in terms of order:

165x240 (make sure you have this at least)
336x280 (best between posts on main page or after posts, comments section)
468x60 (this works best for international traffic)
180x150 (anywhere else on your blog).

Note that for the 468x60 it works best if you have a mix of traffic. We have ads from countries besides Malaysia and Singapore occasionally on this format.

The maximum number of ads you can place on 1 page is 4. This is limited automatically by the system. If you see anyone placing more than 4 ads, they are likely using hacks which are not permitted.

PS: We're launching the 720x90 ad format soon. This is going to have the highest CPM rates, assuming that you place it in a prominent section on your blog.
